Nearly 30,000 members attended last week’s Young Living Essential Oils International Grand Convention, during which over 50 new products were launched. In addition to several over-the-counter (OTC) products, makeup and baby care lines made their debut. All products contain ingredients that are clean, pure, and earth- and plant-derived.

Because giving the 411 on all the new YLEO products would make for one long post, I’m going to share with you the products I’ve ordered and give you a high-level summary on the rest.

Desert Mist Ultrasonic Diffuser

The Desert Mist Ultrasonic diffuser’s Moroccan-inspired design is customizable, with several lighting options, including a candle-like flicker mode and can run up to 10 hours. I purchased this diffuser for the long running time and price, which is the same as the Dewdrop and Home diffusers.

Insect Repellent

I am mosquito bait; seriously, they love me. I’ve tried every type of repellent, and nothing worked. About two years ago, I started making my own repellent with essential oils, and it worked. I’m excited to try this blend that includes Lemon and Citronella essential oils and is non-greasy.

Mineral Sunscreen Lotion

I don’t tan; I burn. Sunscreen is a necessity, but it either feels greasy or like shellac to me, and its scent usually leaves something to be desired. This sunscreen is made with naturally derived plant- and mineral-based ingredients and 100 percent pure essential oils; is lightweight and non-greasy; goes on clear; and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes.

Lava-Derm After-Sun Spray

Aside from those times when I forget the sunscreen, this after-sun spray appealed to me because it can also be used to relieve pain and itching caused by minor burns, cuts, scrapes and insect bites (for those times I forget the bug repellent). LavaDerm After-Sun Spray contains Peppermint essential oil, which helps to sooth and cool the skin.

Fulfill Your Destiny Essential Oil Blend

YLEO creates an essential oil unique to every convention, and this year’s essential oil blend, Fulfill Your Destiny, contains Tangerine, Frankincense, Nutmeg, Cassia, Cardamom, Clary Sage, Black Pepper, Idaho Blue Spruce, and Neroli essential oils. The aroma of Fulfill Your Destiny reminds you to stay focused on your inner strengths and the path before you. I always make it a point to purchase the year’s convention blend, and I cannot wait to take a whiff of this one.

Shutran 3-in-1 Men’s Wash

I got this 3-in-1 men’s wash for hubs to try. This shower gel contains naturally derived, plant-based ingredients that deodorize and cleanse the face, hair, and body without stripping natural oils. Shutran 3-in-1 Men’s wash joins other Shutran products, a shave cream and essential oil blend of Idaho Blue Spruce, Ylang Ylang, Ocotea, Hinoki, Davana, Cedarwood, Lavender, Coriander, Lemon and Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oils.

AlkaLime Stick Packs

I’ve been able to swap AlkaLime for the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication I’d been on for years. One teaspoon in 4-6 ounces of distilled water 1-3 times a day. However, not always convenient when I travel. These sticks make it easier to get my AlkaLime on the go. AlkaLime contains Lemon and Lime essential oils, organic lemon powder, and biochemical mineral cell salts, which help to naturally support a balanced pH.

Savvy Minerals by Young Living

I currently use a mineral-based makeup line and will replenish items with this new mineral-based makeup line which features natural, pure ingredients – even the dyes.

AminoWise and Super Cal Plus

AminoWise and Super Cal Plus are new additions to YLEO’s line of supplements. AminoWise helps maximize your workout and recovery by aiding muscle building and repair and helping to reduce muscle fatigue and replenishing minerals lost during exercise.
