Disclosures and Disclaimers

This week’s 5 essential oils:

Dill:  Dill is available as a single blend and as part of Young Living Essential Oils Vitality New Dietary Essential Oil Line, which means it can be added to food or taken as a dietary supplement. Dill can also be applied topically (diluted 1:1, 1 part dill to 1 part carrier oil), inhaled directly or diffused. Added to dressings and dips, Dill essential oil can replace fresh or dried dill herb for a fresh, pungent flavor. Dill essential oil is produced from the distillation of the whole plant and is believed to be calming when used aromatically. The relaxing aromatic experience can be enhanced by blending Dill with Roman Chamomile. I rub a little Dill on my wrists to keep my sugar cravings at bay. Dill helps with blood sugar and digestive and liver issues.

En-R-Gee:  I’m glad En-R-Gee comes in a 15 ml bottle. This inexpensive Young Living Essential Oils proprietary blend contains Rosemary, Juniper, Lemongrass, Nutmeg, Idaho Balsam Fir, Clove and Black Pepper essential oils. En-R-Gee can be diffused, directly inhaled, or applied topically (1:2). I either directly inhale or apply on the back of my neck and temples. En-R-Gee increases vitality and alertness and helps with circulation. It’s part of my 1-2 punch when I need to power through a project.

EndoFlex:  Like Dill, EndoFlex is available as a blend or as part of the Vitality line, which means it can be taken as a dietary supplement. EndoFlex is a Young Living Essential Oils proprietary blend of Sesame Seed Oil and Spearmint, Sage, Geranium, Myrtle, German Chamomile and Nutmeg. When diffused, EndoFlex creates a calming and balancing aroma. EndoFlex can also be inhaled directly and applied topically (1:1). EndoFlex helps to amplify metabolism and vitality and create hormonal balance.

Envision:  The other part of my 1-2 punch. En-R-Gee keeps me awake, and Envision helps me to focus. Envision is another inexpensive Young Living Essential Oils proprietary blend that contains Spruce, Geranium, Orange, Lavender, Sage and Rose essential oils. Envision can be diffused, inhaled directly and applied topically. Envision contains scents that stimulate feelings of creativity and resourcefulness, encouraging renewed faith in the future and the strength necessary to achieve goals and dreams.

Eucalyptus Blue:  Eucalyptus Blue is distilled from Blue Gum tree leaves and is high in eucalyptol, which has a calming and invigorating scent when diffused. Eucalyptus Blue can also be directly inhaled and applied topically (1:1). Eucalyptus Blue helps to support respiratory functions and relieves sore muscles.

Another great group of oils! This week’s featured oil is EndoFlex. For a chance to win a 5 ml bottle of EndoFlex, follow Oils & Spoils, if you aren’t already, and I’ll randomly draw a lucky winner from Oils & Spoils wordpress and email followers. Click on the icon at the bottom to follow.

Until next week, I’d recommend putting a fitment roller on the bottle of Dill essential oil that you’re now eyeing to help you with your sweet tooth. I learned the hard way that it’s kind of hard to get a drop from the bottle to your wrist and keep it there while you put the bottle down, so you can rub your wrists together. I should have got my attempt on video. That is all.

Essential Oils Diffuser Jewelry Making Classes

SO excited to find some jewelry making tools today on sale at Harbor Freight! I’ll be offering Essential Oils Diffuser Jewelry Making classes at Hobby Lobby in Murfreesboro, Tenn. in the near future. We’ll make a pair of earrings, a bracelet and a pendent. The techniques taught can be used not only to make diffuser jewelry, but jewelry with any kind of beads and findings. Porous materials, such as wood, lava rock and clay are used to make diffuser jewelry. Put a drop of essential oil on these beads, and it soaks in and lasts for a couple of days, giving you the benefits of the chosen oil(s). Each class will be capped at 5 students, and tools and beads/findings will be provided. Cost will be $40 per person for two hours and pieces made in class go home with the maker. Let me know what days, times would be good for you, if you’re in the area and interested.
